WASHINGTON – The Science Coalition (TSC) released the following statement in commemoration of Earth Day:
“As we take time to celebrate the planet we share, it is important to highlight the leading role America’s research universities and federal investment in science are playing in the fight against climate change. This work is being conducted by dedicated scientists, researchers, and students across the country with the support of core federal research agencies including the Department of Agriculture, Environmental Protection Agency, National Aeronautics and Space Administration, and National Science Foundation. Protecting our world will require all of us to redouble our efforts and our commitment to investing more in this critical work.”
